Researchers take a closer look at the genomes of microbial communities in the human mouth

Researchers discovered large variability in #microbiota living in certain areas of the mouth & surprising amount of site-specific microbes.


For instance, microbes found on the tongue are very different from microbes on the plaque on teeth.
