Oxford study indicates AstraZeneca effective against Brazil variant, source says

Preliminary data indicates that the AstraZeneca #COVID19 vaccine is effective against the P1, or Brazilian, #coronavirus variant.

The data suggest that the vaccine will not need to be modified in order to protect against the variant, which is believed to have originated in Manaus, Brazil.
