Gum disease linked to COVID-19 complications

A study of >500 patients with #COVID19 found that those with periodontal disease were 3.5 times more likely to be admitted to ICU, 4.5 times more likely to need a ventilator, & almost 9 times more likely to die compared to those without gum disease.
